Michele Vieux created Mmmm Good Meals in March 2008, when looking for a career change after working with nonprofits for five years.
The former Fundraising Officer became bored of sitting behind a desk and took a serious look at making one of her hobbies, cooking, a career.
With the goal of quitting her desk job by the end of 2008, she began cooking Zone-friendly meals for three friends at CrossFit San Diego.
Within two weeks, she had 20 people asking for the same service and within a month, she had given notice at her job to take on Mmmm Good Meals full-time.
As of September 1st Mmmm Good Meals has over 100 customers and has plans for expansion this fall with the addition of cooking classes and more delivery locations.
